Silver Films

"Silver can be formed into any shape the mind can conceive"

Silver Films are a film production company founded in 1996 by Janey De Nordwall, a producer. In 2006 Richard Oliver joined as Silver Film's commercials director. They describe the way they work as 'diligently', so they give each film the time and effort that it needs to make it perfect in their opinion. This links to their idea, mentioned on their website that "if you talk to people, rather than shout, they listen. If they're listening, you can connect with them".

In the past ten years Silver Films have produced five short films. In 2001, one of their most popular short films, "About a Girl", has won the BAFTA award for Best Short Film. Their most recent short film, "Gardens With Red Roses" is also being shown in international film festivals as well as being used to raise awareness of the charity 'Action on Elder Abuse'

As well as producing five award winning short films, Silver Films create television commercials for international clients, the commercials are mainly for cars, and include the TV advertisements for the Lexus V8 and the Toyota Yaris.
