Actors, props, costumes

Actors:

Young girl: It's most likely that we will have Sam's three year old sister for this role. This is because she fits the criteria for the child, as obviously she is a young and a girl.

Mother: We are still looking for a suitable actress for the mother because we don't know any adults who would be interested in acting in our short film. Sam's mum might possibly act as the Mother.

Props:

We need a few toys for the short film, including the main 'mum' and 'dad' toys which will be dolls similar to Barbies and Action Man dolls. There might also be some other toys, such as teddy bears, that will just be there for show.

We also need a phone for the mother to be having an argument on. 

Costumes:

The little girl will have her hair in pigtails so that she looks innocent and cute. This is so the audience may feel sorry for her family situation.

She will be wearing normal everyday clothes, like a skirt, so that it is suitable for whatever the weather is like.

The mum will also be wearing normal everyday clothing, such as jeans and a tshirt. She won't look like a business woman because she doesn't have a job.
